Legal Waiver & Service Agreement

 

Welcome! My mission is to provide seniors and their families with a thoughtful, peaceful, and meaningful move-in or move-out experience. I combine a love for organizing, attention to detail, and respect for personal history to make transitions easier and more comfortable for everyone involved.

By scheduling or allowing services, you and all associated parties agree to the following terms:

1. Our Mission and Services

• I provide hands-on move-in, move-out, and home organization services designed to reduce stress, honor personal belongings, and create order with care.

• My focus is on supporting seniors and their families through transitions, preserving memories, and creating a smooth, calm experience.

• Services may include sorting, packing/unpacking, organizing furniture, and thoughtfully arranging spaces for accessibility and comfort.

 

2. Professional Standards & Boundaries

• I bring professional expertise, high standards, and a heart for service to every interaction.

• To preserve the quality and focus of my work:

  • Services are single-operator, hands-on, and focused on the senior transition.

  • I do not provide ongoing household labor, personal errands, or open-ended tasks outside the mission.

  • I value respectful, clear communication and expect clients and family members to engage kindly and collaboratively.

• This ensures that my energy, attention, and skill are fully dedicated to delivering a safe, meaningful, and high-value experience.

 

3. Acknowledgment of Risks

You understand and agree that:

• Services involve physical labor, handling of personal property, furniture, fragile or sentimental items, and coordination with multiple parties.

• While I exercise care, risks exist, including:

  • Property damage or loss

  • Physical injury to anyone in the home

  • Emotional distress during the transition process

  • Unforeseen events or accidents

 

4. Waiver of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree:

• Not to hold me, my business, or affiliates liable for injury, property damage, emotional distress, or other harm from services.

• This waiver covers all parties, including family members, friends, caregivers, or representatives.

• Claims arising from miscommunication, disputes over items, or differences in expectations are included.

 

5. Assumption of Responsibility

• Clients are responsible for clear instructions and removing hazards in the home environment.

• I am not liable for pre-existing structural risks, home conditions, or items outside of direct control.

 

6. Indemnification

• You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the provider, business, and affiliates from any claims, lawsuits, costs, or damages related to services, including:

  • Third-party disputes or family disagreements

  • Accidents in the home

  • Alleged emotional trauma

  • Property loss or misplacement

 

7. Service Boundaries

• Services are finite and defined; requests outside the mission may be declined.

• I will not engage in bargaining, tasks unrelated to the senior transition.

• Clients agree to respect professional boundaries and understand the scope and purpose of the service.

 

8. Dispute Resolution

• Disputes will first be addressed through good faith communication.

• If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to arbitration or mediation in Georgia, rather than litigation, where legally permitted.

 

9. Severability & Enforceability

• If any part of this agreement is deemed unenforceable, the remainder remains in full effect.

• This represents the entire agreement regarding services, risk, liability, and conduct.

 

10. Acknowledgment & Acceptance

By scheduling or permitting services, you confirm:

• You have read, understood, and accepted all terms.

• You agree to assume risk and respect professional boundaries.

• You understand this protects the provider, business, and personal liability while enabling high-quality, compassionate service.
